Cancellation policy

This Subscription Policy explains how subscriptions and pre-orders work at Simple Science Supplements Ltd (“Simple Science”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It sits alongside our Billing Terms and Conditions (which cover the payment side of subscriptions in detail), Returns Policy (which covers refunds and returns), and Terms of Service.

How our subscriptions work

Most of our products are available on a subscription as well as for one-off purchase. A subscription means we send your chosen product or bundle on a regular cycle so you don’t run out, and so you don’t have to remember to reorder.

When you choose a subscription at checkout you select:

  • The product or bundle you want to receive.
  • The delivery frequency (for example every 30, 60, or 90 days — options vary per product).

Subscriptions usually come with a discount on every order compared with the one-off price, plus other subscriber-only perks where available. Pricing and any discount are shown on the product page and at checkout before you confirm.

Managing your subscription

You can change or cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal. There is no minimum commitment and no cancellation fee.

The easiest way to manage your subscription is from our Manage your subscription page. Enter your email and we’ll send you a one-tap secure link to your subscription portal — no password required. The link is valid for 7 days.

You can also reach the same portal:

  • Directly from any subscription email we send you (every renewal reminder, charge confirmation, and welcome email contains a one-tap link).
  • From your customer account on our website if you have one.

If you have any trouble accessing your subscription portal — or you’d simply prefer to make changes by email — you can contact us at any time at help@simplesciencesupplements.com and we’ll make the change for you. We’re happy to skip a delivery, change your frequency, swap your product, pause, update your address or payment method, or cancel on your behalf.

What you can do at any time

From the subscription portal you can:

  • Skip the next delivery — useful if you have plenty in stock or you’re going away.
  • Change the date of the next delivery — you can also change all subsequent deliveries to match if needed.
  • Change the delivery frequency — speed up or slow down to match how quickly you go through the product.
  • Swap the product — change to a different product or bundle at the same subscription price.
  • Pause indefinitely — stop renewals without cancelling, then restart whenever you’re ready.
  • Update your address for future deliveries.
  • Update your payment method.
  • Cancel at any time.

Changes take effect immediately for any renewal that has not yet been processed. Changes made after a renewal has already been charged or shipped apply to the following cycle.

Charges, renewals, and reminders

In short:

  • Your first instalment is charged at checkout, like a normal one-off order.
  • Subsequent renewals are charged automatically on your next renewal date.
  • We email you a reminder a few days before each renewal so you can change, skip, pause, or cancel before being charged.

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel, open the Manage your subscription page, sign in with your one-tap link, and select cancel from the portal. You can also email us at help@simplesciencesupplements.com and we will cancel on your behalf.

Cancelling stops all future renewals immediately. It does not affect any order that has already been charged or shipped — those orders will be delivered as normal. If you want a refund for a delivered subscription order, please follow the process in our Returns Policy.

Refunds and returns

In summary: unopened, sealed products can normally be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund. Opened products are exempt from the statutory return right because they are sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health and hygiene reasons. We will always honour your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Pre-orders

Some of our products may occasionally be offered as a pre-order — for example, a new product launching soon or an out-of-stock product expected back in a few weeks. When you pre-order, you reserve a unit ahead of general availability. Where pre-orders are available we will state at checkout:

  • The expected fulfilment or dispatch window.
  • Whether we collect full payment, a partial deposit, or no payment at the time of order.
  • When any remaining payment will be taken.

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is fulfilled by emailing us at help@simplesciencesupplements.com. We will refund any deposit or full payment in full. Once the pre-order has been fulfilled and dispatched, it is treated as a normal order and is subject to our Returns Policy and the right-to-cancel rules described there.

Changes to this Subscription Policy

We may update this Subscription Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our subscription offering, our service providers, or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required by law, provide additional notice to active subscribers by email.
